Boomerang for gmail reddit8/31/2023 ![]() Ultimately, we chose to differentiate by Google Apps so that we could provide the highest-quality level of support for businesses, since they are our heaviest users. When we first introduced pricing plans back in 2011, we debated for a long time about how to structure them to be fair to everyone but still keep us running as a sustainable business. But how can I possibly rationalise 3x more for the same service?!? I'll wait for your reply before doing anything but as I see it, Right Inbox seems to offer exactly the same functionality for $5.95 / month with no distinction between gmail and Google Apps. I'd (grudgingly) pay you double $9.99 for Boomerang with my new Google Apps account, but $14.99 per month is simply taking the piss. I'm sorry but this makes zero sense, and worse is surely indefensible from a cost point of view on your side. However I've just upgraded to Google Apps for Business and now you want TRIPLE the money for exactly the same service (I don't need recurring emails or notes), simply because I'm now using a different version of the Google Plex? Until the other day, I was running my work email through my personal gmail, and the personal Boomerang plan $4.99 / month was a small price to pay to effectively outsource my memory (the reminder functionality is what I use most, send later and other stuff not so much). I actually can't live without it and recommend it to everyone I know. Hey Mike, I've been using Boomerang for almost a year now and I think it's brilliant. Outside of Gmail, there are many other fun services with command-line-like interfaces such as, , and. If you like the email reminders feature of Boomerang and want them for free, you should try Gmail Snooze. ToutApp and Streak are more targeted towards salespeople, but they have Send Later features in Gmail, too. (I recommend not installing both of our products simultaneously because I imagine that there will be usability conflicts you should try one at a time). ![]() ![]() If you prefer something that puts a Send Later button inside the Gmail website like what Boomerang does, the closest thing we have to a direct competitor is Right Inbox. I haven't tried gmail-delay-send myself, but I've heard good things about it, and the code is open-source, which is awesome. If you aren't afraid of Google Apps Script and want to try something free, you can use gmail-delay-send. is great for sending emails later, and it has an advantage over Boomerang in that you don't need to connect it with your Gmail account. :) I feel silly answering this question, but I think I can provide a good answer, so whatever, here it goes. I didn't expect to see my product on here.
